We hosted two programs in April to spotlight the biodiversity of New York City with a focus on birds. On April 21, we unveiled a new art activity: What’s Your Wingspan?, at the Earth Day celebration in Union Square. We traced children’s outstretched arms, measured the span, and the children illustrated an imaginary or real bird.

In Washington Square Park, we hosted Biodiversity Love Fest on April 30 as part of City Nature Challenge 2022. The data art “I Eat Rats” was on loan to us for the event.
